- The 68000 is replaced by a 68HC000, the 68008 is no loss to anyone, the
- 68681 will become a 68HC681 and I hadn't heard about the 68230.

- Moto is completely committed to the 68k line, because it makes money for
- them in a wide, wide range of markets. The 68306 is likely to be a
- popular chip (for the same reasons you chose it!) and should be around
- for quite awhile.
